J.Lindeberg Presents the Fall Winter 2021 Golf Collection with Updated Sustainability Focus

Fall Winter 2021 takes another big step into the future as a pioneering leader in golf wear. The collection is part of the concept ‘Aim Higher’, and continues around the theme of lightness, while offering a more sustainable choice.

‘Aim Higher’ is defined by three main stories: Gradient TechTM, Active MeshTM and The ElementsTM. Building on the sensations from Spring Summer 2021, it has been updated with above-the-cut styles for top performance. The collection is the first designed by Neil Lewty, Head of Design, who was recruited in August 2020 from Hugo Boss Sportswear.

With this collection, we aim to inspire. We’ve taken our best performing pieces and extended its technical features, says Lewty. Similar to our fashion line, the golf collection presents contrasting fabrics, neutral and strong bright colors, and refined techniques to adapt to our surroundings while always adding a layer of aspirational design. Simply put, we aim higher.

The result is a strong series with a determined, confident, active and sophisticated energy. The new innovations include a lightweight high stretch cotton pique – Cotton Elite, as well as Tech Wool and Soft Jersey Brushed with a softer, brushed interior. It also includes several new jackets, among them a fully taped, waterproof hybrid jacket with PrimaLoft® padding. Another revolutionary step is the increased focus on sustainability. 80% of the fabrics used are BlueSign® or Oekotex® certified and the collection is entirely fluorocarbon PFOA and PFO free.

Style and comfort is essential and has long been a part of the J.Lindeberg DNA, but as we move forward, an increased focus on sustainability is crucial, says Lewty.
